NOTE: The below magazine is in Fārsī and Pashū. Its name is most likely in reference to the famous Battle of Yarmūk in 636 CE between the Rāshidūn Caliphate and the Byzantines. The Battle of Yarmūk took place along the Yarmūk River, which is located near the border of Syria and Jordan. The Rāshidūn Caliphate defeated a much larger Byzantine army and took control of the Levant. For more on the battle see here.
