On May 12 a video posted to YouTube purporting to be from the Palestinian branch of the Syrian jihadi group Jabhat al-Nusra (The Victory Front; JN) claimed responsibility for the May 9 twin car bombings near a security complex in Damascus that killed more than fifty-five individuals and wounded hundreds. And, while JN appears to be a genuine extremist group, it is not clear whether it was responsible for either the attack or the video. The video raises disturbing questions about the Assad regime’s possible manipulation of jihadists based on its past relationships with these groups.

In a response to the aggression of the oppressive aggressors and within the series of (Operations of the true promise – striking by raiding) which we have launched previously, the soldiers of the Front of Support – May Allah glorify it – conducted a twin qualitative operations on the headquarters of the military establishment which is located on the Revolution street in the center of Damascus, at 6:30 am on Saturday 5-5-2012 the heroes of the security operations planted an IED under one of the vehicles of the army and it was detonated killing 4 guards and after 15 minutes the security and thugs gathered in the location so the second IED was detonated killing around 20 elements as well as wounded, Alhamdulillah.
And let this blessed operations be a lesson to every headquarter that participates with the oppressive Assadi regime in its aggression and brutality against Ahli Sunnah.

(With the aid of Allah Almighty) one of the security companies of the Front of Support of People for Al-Sham conducted several qualitative security operations:
1- Brigadier General Shaker Tanjon was targeted with a sticky IED in Damascus and he was killed – Alhamdulillah – on 20-4-2012.
2- An officer was targeted and killed by planting a sticky IED to his BMW in Damascus – Al-Fahmah region at 10:00 am on 2-5-2012.
3- A pickup truck of the army was targeted at 10:30 pm in Damascus – Al-Yarmouk street on 2-5-2012.
4- An officer with two soldiers in the army were targeted by planting a sticky IED on a Mercedes of the army in Damascus – Al-Yarmouk street on 3-5-2012.
5- A First assistant in the army was targeted by planting a sticky IED on his pickup truck in Damascus – Hojaira roundabout.
