NOTE: Last week, it was reported that there was infighting and a potential split within the al-Qā’idah-affiliated organization located in Somalia Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn. This rumor though was refuted by Shaykh Mukhtār Rowbow [Abū Manṣūr], former Emir of al-Shabāb (2008-2009) and current spokesmen in a radio announcement earlier in the week.
